Torsten Bjerregaard was previously an Executive Director and Principal of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners. While at the origination and execution team at Lehman Brothers, Torsten worked primarily in Northern Europe, and helped close over €7 billion of transactions. Most notably, he originated and executed the aquisition of Tornet, a €2 billion public-to-private transaction in Sweden.
Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in early 2000, he was president and CEO of Lipton Realty, Inc., a $500 million real estate company located in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to managing the company's existing portfolio, Torsten introduced the company to the development of self storage, retail centers, warehouses and parking facilities. He has worked in the real estate industry since the late 1980's and holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Handelshøjskolen in Århus, Denmark and an M.B.A. in Finance from St. Louis University
