The history behind the logo
The NEP Partners disc logo was designed based on the old Danish Viking Fortress, Trelleborg (ring fortress), known to be one of the oldest Viking settlements in Denmark. The outer ring symbolises the fortress wall, and the inner three graphics symbolise the buildings.

Trelleborg - Danish Viking Ring Fortress
Contrary to popular belief, Vikings were thrifty merchants and not warriors. In the winter of 980-981, at the height of the Viking Age, the town of Trelleborg had become an important economic centre due to its marketplace. To protect their status and wealth from intruders inhabitants built the fortress Trelleborg. A huge feat of achievement, it consisted of 16 longhouses arranged in 4 square enclosures all of which were encircled by earthen ramparts measuring 524 feet in diameter. The combined role of safe haven and stronghold ensured Trelleborg a vital place in history.
