Edward Williams was previously a Managing Director and Principal of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners, responsible for European asset management, and a property investment and development portfolio of in excess of €10 billion spread across the UK, Sweden, France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Italy.
Before joining Lehman Brothers in 2001, Ed was a director with GE Capital Real Estate where, over a 10-year period, he held various positions within risk and asset management including head of European asset management and head of risk for northern Europe. He was instrumental in helping to transform GE's European real estate portfolio from $500 million of loans in 1991 to a $6 billion mixed portfolio of loans, JVs and equity throughout Europe by 2001. Prior to joining GE, Ed held various positions at First Interstate Bank of California, American Express Bank and National Westminster Bank. He has 25 years of banking and real estate experience.
